Six weeks after the start of the Euroleague season already six players have made at least six three pointers in one single game! Eurohoops presents you the list of the best bombers and reminds you their memorable nights!
As we have explained in an article almost 19 months ago, the players adjusted fast to the new circumstances (the move to the three point line to 6,75 meters). This season the shooting percentages are lower than the previous two years (though every year after the change the percentages were going up) but there is a big difference.
After only six weeks, six players have already made at least six three pointers in one game. The best of course is Andrew Goudelock who registered a new Euroleague record with his 10/13 shots against Bayern. The second one and the last entry in this list is Thomas Heurtel who made 8 3ps in the defeat of Laboral against Neptunas. The next four in the list made their achievement the same week. A.J. Slaughter helped Panathinaikos to destroy Fenerbahce with his 7/9 shots and Jaycee Carroll made new personal record with his 32 points and 7/9 threes against Niznhy
The next day Vassilis Spanoulis made a new personal best in scoring and had 6/11 threes, while Zoran Erceg had 6/9 threes in the win of Galatasaray against Laboral.
Among all the above only Erceg has made more threes in one Euroleague game (7 last season against CSKA)!
