Maccabi Tel Aviv has more than a grudge with Yogev Ohayon and his representatives. The Israeli guard on Friday night signed a contract with Lokomotiv Kuban, but the deal is not officially announced yet and can be voided.
Maccabi is threatening with legal actions against the player and Kuban, as Eurobasket.com reports is having second thoughts about Ohayon. The source of all this trouble is rumored to be a typing error in the contract of the player about the buy out. According to Maccabi there isn’t any buy out until the summer of 2013, but in the contract, probably by mistake, there is a buy out clause for 2012.
Maccabi doesn’t want to let the player leave, but Ohayon is shopped around Europe and besides Lokomotiv Kuban, Unicaja Malaga is also interested about him.
