The next season Galatasaray will not play in Euroleague, but their plans are too ambitious. According to recent days’ information, the team who came last year close to Euroleague’s quarterfinals is near to agreement with either Jamont Gordon or Henry Domercant, or with both of them.
However, during the last hours according to sources of eurohoops.net, David Hawkins came back on the scene for Galatasaray and can take the place of Gordon or Domercant.
The 30year old American had a great season with Besiktas (13.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in Eurochallenge) and appeared close to sign with Fenerbahce about two weeks ago. However, Simone Pianigiani preferred Romain Sato and Hawkins is now candidate for Galatasaray who should agree with Besiktas for the amount of the buy out and that might cost a lot and complicate the situation.
