James Gist named Dimitris Diamantidis as the player of Panathinaikos who will most likely become a coach because “he knows basketball” and Giorgos Printezis thinks that Vangelis Mantzaris has the skills. Vorontsevich said that among CSKA’s players, Alexei Zozulin is most likely to become a coach because “he has experience and his father is also a coach”. Emir Prelzdic announced that he wants to become a coach, like Taylor Rochestie who also named Khvostov as an “expected coach”.
Also, Alex Tyus thinks that Devin Smith has more chances to become a coach and Milko Bjelica believes in the “coaching instinct” of Stephane Lasme. Moreover, Fernando San Emeterio is most likely to continue his career in basketball as a coach, as Fabien Causeur said.
Finally, Bostjan Nachbar had many teammates in his mind as “upcoming coaches”, Ante Tomic, Marcelinho Huertas and… Juan Carlos Navarro but “I don’t know for sure because he’s not the loudest guy” as the Slovenian forward said.
