Giannis Bourouris played for five season with Olympiacos but left the team in most awkward way. A phone conversation of him was published in which he was using a derogatory word for the owners of Olympiacos, Aggelopoulos brothers. However in Madrid for the first time after four years the ice is finally broken.
As Olympiacos was finishing practice, Real entered the court and Bourousis was near the bench of Olympiacos. When he saw Panagiotis and Giorgos Aggelopoulos he went near them, shook their hand and told them: “Congratulations for the two Euroleague titles and bravo for being here again. I wish for a good final and may the best team win”.
