Giannis Antetokounmpo started the season in an amazing way and it seems that he will continue on the path of impressive improvement on every level, as has been the case every season since the start of his career in the NBA!
After the first three games of the regular season, the Greek Freak has an average of 38.3 points and in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers he registered a new career high with 44 points as well as clutch plays (steal, dunk and block) after the two missed free throws.
He returns to his official blog on Eurohoops.net and, like he says, he’s still at the beginning of a long season. But he feels he’s a man on a mission.
Hello everyone!
The season has begun. Several things have happened and, to be honest, this season I feel like I’m on a mission. I had a good start and I achieved a new career high in points. I believe that, during the season, I can surpass it again and again. I have nothing to lose and I will be giving 100% in every game. I know that my personal stats are not important if they are not accompanied by wins and good performances for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The goal this season is not just to reach the playoffs but to make our mark in the league. The season is long. I’m not affected by an average or a very good performance. After the game against the Portland Trail Blazers I did what I always do. Early the next morning I went to the training center to watch videos of plays, have my leg treatment, do my shooting drills, to be ready for the next game against the Charlotte Hornets.
We have 79 games ahead of us and they are all very important. I believe this will be an important season for my team, the Bucks, but also for me personally. For many reasons…
Thank you for your support, your wishes and your positive energy. Basketball is my life and I will continue to express myself through it. Be well everyone, never give up and take care of your loved ones and your family.
Stay tuned and we’ll be in touch as often as I can through my blog. For now, I leave you with the score sheet from the game against Portland, signed by me!
