The Greek Basket League board decided to suspend all games until March 30. The League games were previously just postponed but after the Greek government ordered some extra measures due to the coronavirus pandemic, all action was suspended.
All private and public gyms and sports facilities in Greece won’t be operating until further notice. The Greek Federation had already shut down all minor leagues.
Only the Turkish BSL League and the English BBL League are currently being held in Europe. Players of the Turkish League have openly reacted against the championship continuing amid the coronavirus outbreak.
