Nemanja Nedovic and Giorgos Papagiannis posted 19 and 18 points respectively to pace Panathinaikos (8-1) to an 80-75 victory against AEK (7-2) in Athens. Papagiannis signed off with a double-double, as he also grabbed 13 rebounds to pace the Greens.
Yannick Moreira led all scorers of AEK with 21 points, Keith Langford posted 14 points and Jonas Maciulis had 11.
Earlier in the day, Promitheas (5-3) bounced back and defeated Iraklis (5-6) 85-61 at home. Ian Miller scored a game-high with 21 points, while Jerai Grant had 16 points. Vasilis Kavvadas had 11 points for the opposing side.
