Jerian Grant as the top performer guided Promitheas to the overtime win, 76-69, versus PAOK on the road, in a Greek Cup semifinal held Friday. The team based in Patras will be in the final for the second year in a row.
Grant, 28, pulled off a team-high 24 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists, and three steals in the low-scoring affair. Dimitris Agravanis went for nine points, including a key three in the extra period.
Malcolm Griffin produced 21 points but was not enough for the hosts. Jermaine Love combined his 20 points with eight rebounds and four assists.
The second semifinal will feature Lavrio Megabolt against the winner of the postponed quarterfinal between Panathinaikos OPAP and Peristeri.
