AEK is facing difficulties ahead of the deadline set on Tuesday regarding getting a license to participate in the 2021-22 edition of Greece’s Basket League.
The team based in Athens has not yet reached a settlement agreement with Keith Langford, Matt Lojeski, Moses Kingsley, and Yanick Moreira.
Consequently, they can not present the necessary paperwork proving every player has been financially covered to HEBA in order to get licensed for next season. If a team does not get the license, according to Greek bylaws it will drop to the third-tier division.
AEK is actively seeking a way out waiting for a final response from the four players named above by Monday.
