Keith Langford and AEK Athens have agreed to a deal that will bring back the American guard to the team for the remainder of the season.
AEK sped up the process of bringing in Langford after Braian Angola got sidelined with health issues post-covid and it is unknown when he will get back to the court.
Langford played for AEK between 2019 and 2021, leading the team in scoring. He won the 2020 Greek Cup with the team and was the 2020 Basketball Champions League MVP.
Langford hasn’t played anywhere since leaving AEK last summer which has allowed the team to sign him despite the FIBA bans on the club.
The 38-year-old averaged 16 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 26 minutes throughout the 2020-21 campaign, over 24 games split between the BCL and the Greek League.
