Although Lavtio held up in the first half (41-40), Olympiacos completely took over after the break and secured a dominant 101-58 home win in the Greek league.
Four players went into double-digits for Oly with Tyler Dorsey leading the way. He scored 14 points while also dishing six assists. Giannoulis Larentzakis followed with 13 and Michalis Lountzis 12 points.
Livio Jean-Charles put up a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. For Lavrio, Nikos Persidis scored 11 as the only double-digit scorer.
With this win, Olympiacos improved to 13-1 at the top of the standings while Lavrio remained in the playoff zone (eighth spot) with 5-9.
Earlier, Panathinaikos OPAP rallied to beat Iraklis, 70-58. Okaro White paved the way posting a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double for the team coached by Dimitris Prifits. Jeremy Evans combined 11 points with ten rebounds. Nemanja Nedovic and Ioannis Papapetrou were not available.
Murray State alumnus Brandon Garrett scored 15 points but the visitors did not hold on to an early ten-point lead.
The Greens jumped to 12-1 and forced the team from Thessaloniki down to 3-10.
The Greek Cup Final Four is up next for both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. They will face AEK and Promitheas, respectively, in the semifinals stage Friday.
