Giannoulis Larentzakis stood out in Olympaicos’ convincing 89-67 win over Aris in the Greek League.
The Reds improved to 17-1 but still need to win the rematch against Panathinaikos in order to take over the top spot in the standings, as both teams have the same record at the moment and PAO holds the advantage.
Tyler Dorsey helped out with 16 points while Shaq McKissic scored 11 and Thomas Walkup ten points. Olympiacos had some trouble against feisty Aris in the first ten minutes but soon after rose to double-digits (41-31) and lead by 21 already in the third quarter (66-45).
On the opposing side, Anthony Cowan had 13 points, nine assists, five rebounds while Xeyrius Williams scored 12 points and grabbed seven boards.
