Olympiacos Piraeus prevailed over Promitheas Patras 85-66 on the road to extend its hot streak and improve to an 18-1 record in the Greek Basket League.
Shaquielle McKissic scored 21 points, one short of his season-best, to lead the way for Olympiacos, which got a 27-7 lead in the first period and never looked back to secure an easy victory.
Tyler Dorsey added 19 points, four rebounds and two assists for the visitors, and Sasha Vezenkov had 18 points and four rebounds. Olympiacos will look to keep its undefeated streak in the domestic league when facing Larisa on Saturday (April 16) before Game 1 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs series against AS Monaco in Piraeus next Wednesday (April 20).
Promitheas youngster Georgios Tanoulis tapped 16 points and 7 rebounds, and newcomer Conner Frankamp added 11 points. The Patras side suffered its second consecutive defeat to drop to an 11-7 record, fifth in the Greek League standings.
