Daryl Macon popped off and paved the way for Panathinaikos’ 76-67 road win against Promitheas in the Greek league.
Panathinaikos improved to a 20-2 record in the standings and is temporarily at No. 1 but Olympiacos has one game less played at 20-1. Promitheas holds an 11-11 record in the fifth spot.
Macon was on fire, scoring 29 points on 11-19 shooting while also adding four rebounds and four assists. Okaro White and Georgios Papagiannis helped out with 12 and 11 points respectively.
The duo of bigs was also very impactful on the boards as White grabbed nine and Papagiannis eight rebounds. For Promitheas, Conner Frankamp scored 12, Mihajlo Andric 11 and Jerai Grant ten points.
