Panathinaikos dominates Aris to start the playoffs

Ioannis Papapetrou led the way as Panathinaikos got a convincing 109-79 home win over Aris in Game 1 of the Greek League playoffs.

Papapetrou scored 19 points followed by Okaro White with 16 and Nemanja Nedovic with 15 points. Lefteris Bochoridis added 12 and Peyton Siva 11 points.

On the opposing side, James Kelly fired up in the fourth quarter and finished with 19 points while Shakur Juiston scored 13 and Anthony Cowan ten points. Cowan also dished out nine assists.

Meanwhile, Larisa was successful on the road with a 71-63 win over Kolossos, starting the series with a break as the sixth seed.

Stefan Moody was the main protagonist with 20 points while Ousman Krubally had 16 points and 11 rebounds. Michalis Tsairelis scored 11.

For Kolossos, three players finished the game with 11 points – StefanPot, Vangelis Margaritis, and Kenny Williams.
