Olympiacos Piraeus are through to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, they swept Aris in the domestic playoffs quarterfinals (2-0), and are now ahead of PAOK in the semifinals after an 83-65 home win.

The Thessaloniki team gave a good fight in the first half, but Georgios Bartzokas’s team drastically improved the defense in the second half, conceding just seven points in the third, and 13 in the final quarter.

Sasha Vezenkov led the way with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Giannoulis Larentzakis followed him with 16 points.

Alec Peters got to double digits with 13 points, as well as Michalis Lountzis who scored 10.

For the losing side, Jordan Sibert had 15, Jalen Riley 12 points, while Jaylen Hands added nine, with four boards.

Olympiacos needs two more wins to advance to the final, but that will have to wait for the Final four in Kaunas. Game 2 against PAOK is scheduled for May 25.
