Peristeri wins G2 of the semifinals against Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos did not get the job in the semifinals of the domestic competition. Peristeri managed to even out the series 1-1 after getting a big win on the home court 73-58.

After a slow-paced and low-scoring first half, Panathinaikos completely despaired on the defensive end. Peristeri jumped to a big lead scoring 28 points in the third quarter alone which was enough to seal the deal.

The Croatian big man Miro Bilan led the way for Peristeri with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Denmon also added 14 points on the winning side.

As for Panathinaikos, Mateusz Ponitka had 17 points and 12 rebounds.
