Alec Peters scored 25 points and Isaiah Canaan added 23 of his own as Olympiacos Piraeus blew out Maroussi BC 111 – 83 on the road to get another win in the Greek League. The Reds are now 6 – 1 while Maroussi dropped to 2 – 5.
Both Peters and Canaan were highly effective from the 3-point line to finish with 5 – 7 and 7 – 9 threes respectively and help Olympiacos make short work of Maroussi following a balanced first quarter (21-24). Ignas Brazdeikis added 13 points and Luke Sikma had 10 points.
Isaiah Briscoe was once more Maroussi’s leading scorer with 20 points while dishing out six assists. Ahmed Hill had 14 points.
After the game, Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas said to the Greek national television that he has proposed some players to the club management that is working towards completing a transfer.
