Fenerbahce Beko led from start to finish and beat Petkim 81 – 59 on the road to improve its Turkish BSL record to a league-best 21 – 3. Petkim dropped to 12 – 12.
George Papagiannis had 12 points plus eight rebounds for Fenerbahce while Yam Madar scored 12 points, got seven boards and dished out four assists. Nick Calathes contributed 11 points plus six assists and Nate Sestina dropped 11 points.
Kristers Zoriks stood out from Petkim with 14 points and five assists. Markel Starks had 12 points and Peyton Aldridge posted 11 points plus seven rebounds.
Fenerbahce is next facing ALBA Berlin Friday (29/3) at home in a game for Round 29 of the EuroLeague regular season. The Turkish side will look to bounce back after an away loss to Olimpia Milano.
