Kevin Porter Jr. did everything for PAOK, even recording a triple-double, but it wasn’t enough to stave off elimination against Panathinaikos. Therefore, his short adventure in the Stoiximan Basket League ends.

He signed off with a bang, scoring 23 points with 14 rebounds and 10 assists, playing the full 45 minutes. After the final buzzer, he couldn’t hide his emotions, bursting into tears at the end of the game.

The 24-year-old had a chance to tie the series 1-1 in regulation and then in overtime but couldn’t prevent PAOK and himself from finishing their Basket League obligations for the 2023/24 season.

For now, Porter Jr. ended his episode in Greek and European basketball. It lasted a month and a half, and during his stay, the former Houston Rockets player made six appearances, averaging 22 points, 9.3 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 blocks.

It’s an impressive stat line which was completed with just the 11th triple-double in the Greek league’s history (counting from 1992). It has to be noted, however, that three of them were registered during the 2023-24 season.
