Ghanaian center played his first game for Olympiacos and recorded a win

Olympiacos recorded another win in the Greek Basket League, as Nathan Mensah made his debut for the Piraeus team.

Georgios Bartzokas’ side defeated Lavrio 87-77, with the Ghanaian center scoring 12 points and grabbing seven rebounds in his first appearance in the red and white jersey.

Sasha Vezenkov led the way for Olympiacos with 24 points and six rebounds, while Tyler Dorsey followed with 15 points. Moustapha Fall also finished in double digits, scoring 12 points with six boards.

On the other side, Sam Griffin had 21 points, while Antonis Koniaris, Vasileios Mouratos, and Qudus Wahab scored 11 points each.

Panathinaikos also had a triumphant finish to 2024, taking down AS Karditsas 96-72 at OAKA Arena.

Juancho Hernangómez had 17 points, Cedi Osman added 14, while Dinos Mitoglou scored 13 and Ömer Yurtseven contributed 11 points for the winning side, which remained perfect at the top of the standings with a 12-0 record.

Trevon Allen had 14 points, Noah Horchler scored 13, and Francis Okoro added 12 points along with 10 rebounds for the losing side.
