Olympiacos reacted to a 14-point deficit and dominated the rest of the way en route to an 89-70 victory versus AEK Betsson in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Sunday.
Alec Peters was the driving force in Round 16 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season. Falling narrowly shy of his best scoring showing in the 2024-25 campaign, the 29-year-old forward tallied 20 points alongside six rebounds and three assists. Kostas Papanikolaou and Nigel Williams-Goss chipped in 15 and 14 points, respectively, while Nikola Milutinov paired nine points with 11 rebounds. On the losing end, Hunter Hale registered a team-high 14 points.
Besides Thomas Walkup (back), Keenan Evans (knee), and Moses Wright (illness) remaining unavailable, and unregistered Shaquielle McKissic, the Reds also missed Sasha Vezenkov due to patellar tendinitis and Luca Vildoza, who is nursing an abdominal injury stemming from Round 23 of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and the meeting with Fenerbahce Beko in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday. Also, Moustapha Fall suited up but was rested due to a minor injury.
The team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas jumped to 14-2 in the GBL.
