Dimitris Giannakopoulos, the owner of Panathinaikos, had 11 months of penalties remaining from consecutive decisions by the Single-Member Disciplinary Body of ESAKE, which were confirmed by the ASEAD, prohibiting his access to stadiums for the games of the Stoiximan GBL and the Greek Cup.
This is now a thing of the past, as the Administrative Court of First Instance in Athens accepted his request for a suspension of the penalties.
He can now attend domestic competitions in person. This will remain in effect until the administrative courts rule on the penalty, to which he has appealed.
The next game for Panathinaikos in the Stoiximan GBL is on 9/2 against Peristeri at the “Dimitrios Tofalos” arena, and the countdown has begun for the Final Eight of the Greek Cup (12-16/2) at “Dyo Aorakia,” where they will face the team from the western suburbs in the second quarterfinal match (12/2, 20:15).
