Trailing for large stretches in Round 17 of Greece’s Stoiximan GBL Regular Season, Olympiacos bounced back in the fourth quarter and held on down the stretch to defeat Promitheas Vikos Cola, 77-74.

Nikola Milutinov combined 21 points, a new individual high for the 2024-25 journey, with nine rebounds and four assists. A second double-digit scoring contribution belonged to Sasha Vezenkov with 13 points. The late rally improved the domestic tally to 15-2.

Keenan Evans (knee), Moustapha Fall (hand), Luca Vildoza (ankle), Thomas Walkup (back), and Moses Wright (illness) were sidelined along with unregistered Shaquielle McKissic.

“Besides the players here, Fall and McKissic will be available,” head coach Giorgos Bartzokas shared with Greek public television ERT, previewing the next double-game week of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season. Therefore, Walkup and Vildoza are expected to remain out.

Hoping to improve a league-high 17-7 record in Europe’s premier club continental competition, the Reds visit Paris on Wednesday and travel to FC Barcelona on Friday.

On the opposite end, the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 participant guided by Ilias Papatheodorou fell to 8-9 in the GBL.
