The Greek playoffs started with a bang. PAOK (5) came back from a 17 points deficit and got the 83-78 against AEK (4) on the road, while Aris (3) prevailed over Kifisia (6) by 18 points (78-60).
Of course the game at OAKA stole the show, as PAOK scored 31 points in the last period and turned things around with Kostas Vasileiadis scoring a crucial three (78-75) in the closing seconds. William Hatcher had 21 points for the winners, Vasileiadis added 17, while Loukas Mavrokefalidis scored 19 points for AEK.
In the game of Aris, Dominique Waters with 18 points and 5 assists was impressive and got real help from Jerel McNeal (15 p., 8 r., 7 as.) and Vasilis Simcak (10 p., 10 r.). Leonidas Kaselakis had 14 points for the losing side.
