After the 77 – 68 defeat by Aris for the semifinals, James Gist, James Feldeines and Marquez Haynes of Panathinaikos, decided to get a taste of the rich nightlife scene that Thessaloniki has to offer. Something that head coach Argiris Pedoulakis was definitely not happy to hear about.
As Basketplus.gr reported, the three players of the Greens were spotted in various nightclubs of the city, until early in the morning. Since they obviously violated the time-schedule of the team, what they did is considered to be an incident of disciplinary misconduct.
Although coach Pedoulakis is furious with his players’ behavior, the club hasn’t taken any decisions about a possible punishment or a fine, so far.
