American point guard Michael Stockton is going to continue his career in Greek club Apollon Patras.

Thanasis Skourtopoulos, the team’s head coach, broke the news during the press conference after the Greek League game between Apollon and AEK in Athens.

“We are bringing Michael Stockton, John Stockton’s son,” said Skourtopoulos. “He’s a good point guard. He was previously playing in Avtodor Saratov”

Stockton has been averaging 4.4 points and 3.6 assists per game with Avtodor in the FIBA Champions League and 6.7 points plus 3.7 assists in VTB League. His new team is struggling at the 11th place of the Greek League standings and fighting to avoid a possible delegation to the second division.
