AEK prevailed over Rethymno in their first ever meeting in the Greek league playoffs with 90-78 .
Roko Leni Ukic shined for the winners, reaching nearly a triple double with 24 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
The hosts, that managed to stay ahead of the game in its entirety, began with an early 19-14 lead at 10′, while the competitiveness of Rethymno only allowed a 41-34 lead to AEK at halftime.
The deficit started rising to double digits in the final period (78-66 at 37′), with the hosts making the first step forward in the playoffs.
