In Day 2 of the Greek Basket League, Olympiacos blew out Kymi on the road, defeating them by 29 points: 56-85.
Since early on, Olympiacos showed its intentions and was up 20 points at the half (23-43). Their incredible defense held their opponents to only 23 points in the first 20 minutes of play. The game was over by mid-second quarter. In the second half, Kymi went on a run cutting the lead to 12 points (33-45) but Olympiacos responded, increased their lead back to 20 points and ended Kymi’s hopes.
Hollis Thompson led the way for the Reds with 18 points. Nikola Milutinov added 12.
Olympiacos’ next game is at home vs Malaga for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.
