During Promitheas Patras’ blowout victory over Aris at home, some fans of the visiting squad present in the gym began a verbal altercation with Brent Petway, four minutes into the fourth period.
The situation got so intense that the American power forward of Aris had to leave the bench of his team and head to the locker rooms, where he stayed for the remainder of the match.
Petway talked to Eurohoops about the incident stating that, “I can’t accept when someone says something for my mom or family, I can hear anything about me but not for my family. You can say all the bad words about me but not about my family”.
