Olympiacos grabbed a much needed victory of morale against Lavrio with 91-62 in Day 9 of the Greek league.
Olympiacos faced no problem in the opening half and led 35-26 at halftime. The momentum stayed the same in Piraeus during the second, with the hosts keeping double-digit leads until the end.
The key: The hosts outscored their visitors in the final period with 31-19, leaving them no choice but to surrender.
The stars: Ioannis Papapetrou finished the game with 14 points, while Jamel McLean and Hollis Thompson scored 11 points each.
Earlier in the day, Panathinaikos prevailed over Rethymno with ease.
