Panathinaikos outdid AEK in the second half without Matt Lojeski who went to the lockers due to pain in his foot and prevailed.

Panathinaikos beat AEK 94-74 on Day 12 of the Greek League and remains perfect in the standings.

Panathinaikos outran their opponents with 32-23, yet things slowed down in the second period with Xavi Pascual’s squad keeping a 49-39 lead at halftime. In the meantime, a bit before the end of the second period, Matt Lojeski had to go to the lockers after facing pain in his foot.

Despite this drawback, the Greens managed to stay up 72-54 after 30 minutes in the game.

Nick Calathes led the winning side with 19 points and six assists, while Chris Singleton and James Gist followed with 13 points each.
