Panathinaikos achieved the break in Peace and Friendship Stadium and prevailed over Olympiacos with 71-66. Now their final series is tied, each team sharing one win.
Nick Calathes led the Greens with an 18-point performance, along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Mike James followed with 17 points and five rebounds.
For Olympiacos, Ioannis Papapetrou tapped a team-high of 13 points.
Both teams scored a season-high of points against each other in a single half, as Olympiacos went to the lockers with a 43-40 lead.
Panathinaikos tied the score five minutes in the third period and took charge with 56-50 at 30′. Despite of the hosts’ comeback in the final period, Panathinaikos outstood the pressure in the end.
