Hephaestus Lemnos, the team which was created by the move of GS Larisa-Faros to the island of Lemnos, announced today the signing of Latvian basketball player Rolands Freimanis.
The 30-year-old player was born in Gulbene, Latvia on January 21, 1988, and has a height of 2,08 meters. He moved to Spain back in 2009 for Gajasol and he has also played in Ukraine, Russia, Estonia and most recently in Turkey for Usak and Gaziantep where he spent last season.
Last year, in a total of 67 games he averaged 7.0 points with 30% in threes and 3.6 rebounds. Hephaestus has already signed US guard Jerry Smith and will be coached by former Panathinakos and AEK coach Sotiris Manolopoulos.
