Aris Thessaloniki coach Vangelis Aggelou and Panathinaikos coach Xavi Pascual were ejected from the Greek League game between the two teams following a verbal altercation.
With three minutes remaining for the end of the first quarter, Panathinaikos captain Nick Calathes was called with a foul and began protesting to the referee who gave the Greek guard a technical foul. Aggelou was asking the referee to punish Calathes and when Pascual noticed it, he approached the coach of Aris asking him to stop.
The result? The referees send both head coaches to their respective locker room for the remainder of the match.
