Nikos Pappas found his groove and led Panathinaikos to a road win against Promitheas keeping them perfect at the top of the Greek League.

Panathinaikos finished the year on a high note as they registered an 86-69 road win against Promitheas on Day 11 of Greek League.

Nikos Pappas scored 18 points (5/7 triples) for PAO in addition to Deshaun Thomas’ 14 while Nick Calathes helped with 12 points and eight assists. On the other side, Rion Brown nailed game-high 23 points and Tony Meier added 12.

Promitheas started off better (21-16) but Panathinaikos held the minimal 35-34 advantage at halftime. The third quarter proved crucial as the guests went ahead in a double-digit margin (61-50) and kept increasing it until the end securing the win.

Panathinaikos stayed the only undefeated team in Greek League this season with a 10-0 record while Olympiacos improved to 10-1 after overcoming tough PAOK on the road. Promitheas stands at 7-4 and at the bottom is Kolossos with a 2-8 record.
