AEK Athens is in advanced talks with Trevor Mbakwe and the two sides are ready to reach a deal for the remainder of the season in the Greek League.
30-year-old Mbakwe spent part of the current season with German side Ludwigsburg where he posted an average of 9.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in the BBL League, while he also had 5.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in Basketball Champions League.
Mbakwe then left Germany to join Osaka Evessa in Japan and it looks like he’s set to make his return to Europe with AEK if the deal falls to place.
