AEK and Trevor Mbawke have reached a deal, confirming previous reports, and the player is expected to arrive in Athens next week to go through medicals and finally sign with the Greek team.
30-year-old Mbakwe spent part of the current season with German side Ludwigsburg where he posted an average of 9.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game in the BBL League, while he also had 5.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in Basketball Champions League.
