The betting activity for Panionios’ game against Holargos in the last round of the regular season in the Greek League was found to be suspicious and has resulted in a prosecutor’s investigation, as sport-fm.gr reports.
The game between the two teams was of no real importance in terms of standings, and Holargos won the matchup with a 110-90 victory.
Sports Prosecutor Konstantinos Simitzoglou is set to investigate the case and it remains to be seen if there is evidence of a betting scandal.
