Three games were played today in the Greek playoffs and Promitheas was the only team to advance after the win over PAOK while Ifaistos and Holargos tied their series against Peristeri and AEK respectively.
Promitheas grabbed a 76-68 road win over PAOK sweeping the series 2-0 and advancing to the semifinals. Leonidas Kaselakis led the victors with 15 points in addition to Oleksandr Lypovyy and Christos Saloustros’ 12 points each. For PAOK, Johndre Jefferson banked 18 point and 13 boards followed by Phil Goss’ 17 points.
Holargos wasn’t letting go of the lead from start to finish as they got a convincing 88-72 home win over AEK. Gary Talton and Javontae Hawkins scored 18 points each for the winning side while for AEK, Vince Hunter scored 15 and Gabe York 11 points.
Ifaistos and Peristeri played today as well and the hosts managed to record a 77-71 win to tie the series at 1-1. Jerry Smith nailed 25 points and ten boards for Ifaistos while Sean Evans added 14 points and nine boards. On the other side, Steven Gray scored 18 and Ben Bentil 16 points.
