Panathinaikos kept Promitheas under control for a 92-80 road win and now leads 2-0 in the Greek League Finals.
Nick Calathes led the way with 17 points, 14 assists and five boards while Deshaun Thomas scored 16 and Ioannis Papapetrou 12 points. The latter also added nine boards.
For Promitheas, Rion Brown banked 21 points (4-7 triples) followed by Octavius Ellis’ 13 and Oleksandr Lypovyy’s 11 points.
After a tied first quarter (22-22), Panathinaikos managed to create some distance and lead 49-39 at halftime. Although Promitheas cut the distance to six points multiple times (61-55; 76-70), PAO held on and secured the win.
