CHICAGO – LA Clippers‘ Patrick Beverly talked to Eurohoops in the 2020 All-Star Game media availability about how his European experience shaped him both as a person and a player and prepared him for the NBA experience. “I learned how to play basketball the right way”, he explained on Eurohoops TV.
Beverly started his career in Russia with Dnipro, moved to Olympiacos in 2009 and just before moving to the NBA, he was named EuroCup MVP with Spartak St. Petersburg in 2012.
The LA Clippers point guard also talked about Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the qualities he was able to build up from an early age in Greece, before moving to the NBA and winning the regular-season MVP honors last year.
