Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul is getting ready for the upcoming Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four. Jason Thompson is set to make his debut in the Final Four and help Fener achieve the repeat.
Eurohoops caught up with Fenerbahce’s forward/center who talked about the upcoming Final Four, Fenerbahce’s season and how tough it is for a team to come back to the Final Four.
“It is very difficult to try and get back to the Final Four. I’m very proud of my team, and us finishing second and gaining home court advantage. I’m very excited and we have a lot of confidence going into Belgrade.”
He also commented about Fenerbahce’s fans buying tickets months before the Final Four: “It’s always a great feeling. One of the most important things for us this season on the road, was to see the blue and gold in all the away arenas. Meeting all the fans in hotels, on the road, out in the streets in many countries is overwhelming. I can’t wait to see them in Serbia.”
