VITORIA-GASTEIZ — Fenerbahce Beko’s Sinan Guler shared his feelings after the semifinal against Anadolu Efes and wished Ergin Ataman’s squad luck ahead of the big final on Sunday.
“The feeling is definitely bitter. I cannot say it’s a good feeling to experience this right now. For us, the main part is that everybody has got to look in the mirror and see what went wrong and then as a team, we got to look in the mirror to see that as well”, Guler stated.
As for how he feels as a past Efes player, Guler adds: “What Anadolu Efes has been doing for the past 40 years for Turkish basketball is amazing. I think that, receiving back the investment they have been making, is a very good opportunity. I can only wish well for them in tomorrow’s game as a Turkish basketball fan”.
