Despite its injury woes, Valencia got the 93-89 break in Madrid against Real in Game 2 of the Liga Endesa semifinals, while Barcelona cruised to a 91-70 win over Unicaja.
Playing without Pau Ribas and Kresimir Loncar Valencia prevailed in a close game. The third quarter come back of Real Madrid, led by Sergio Llull (28 p.) was not enough against a team effort. Bojan Dubljevic (18 p.) and Sammy Van Rossom (13 p., 7 as.) were the duo that gave Valencia’s the win and tied the score at 1-1 wins.
In Barcelona, after a close first quarter the Catalans with Tomas Satoransky adding one more great game (19 p.) in his season, got things under control. Unicaja couldn’t react, Barca is leading 2-0 and the game ended with a thunderous windmill dunk by Mario Hezonja.
