After the great fifth semifinal in Berlin vs Alba, Bayern had the confidence to beat Brose Baskets on the road in Game 1 (84-73) of the BBL finals and turn the tables in the home advantage.

This time wasn’t Nihad Djedovic (5 points with 2/10 shots) who made the difference for Bayern but five other players who scored in double digits and prevailed over the hosts in a low scoring affair.

The visitors won with the ease the battles near the baskets with Stimac (16 points with 6/8 2ps), Savanovic (14 points) and Bryant (12 points with 6/7 2ps) stepping up. Next to them also Taylor (12 points) and Schaffartzik (10 points) from the perimeter helped Pesic’s team to get the win.

The scoring of Brose Baskets was balanced with five players being double digits (Wanamaker 15 p., Miller 10p, Theis 10p, Strelnieks 10p, Harris 10p) but none of them couldn’t change the route of the game, while the hosts after trailing by five in the 32′ (60-65) couldn’t get closer. The second final will be held in Munich on Wednesday (10/6).
