After a great overtime game, Anadolu Efes draw first blood in TBL’s finals with a 95-92 (81-81) win over feisty Karsiyaka. Thomas Heurtel had 25 points for the winners, while Bobby Dixon scored 26 points for the losing side.
Heurtel and Nenad Krstic (17 p.) were decisive at the end of the game, Dario Saric added a double double (15 p., 14 r.) while Dixon had also 7 rebounds, 6 assists, the help of Jonh Diebler who scored 19 points and D.J.Strawberry (17 p.). Karsiyaka entered the last minute with a 90-89 lead after a three by Diebler, but Heurtel answered the same way and Krstic gave a crucial 94-90 lead to Efes from the free throws line whith 15 seconds to the clock.
Strawberry went to the free throws line with 5 second to go, he missed the first, also the second on purpose, but Efes got the rebound and the game was over.
