Karsiyaka tied the series against Efes (1-1) after the big on road win (86-85) thanks to the great game of Bobby Dixon and Juan Palacios who were also decisive in the last minute!

The Cinderella of the Turkish finals fought hard in the Game 1 and lost in the overtime, but made it in the second game (86-85) after a great night by Dixon. The American point guard scored 28 points (2/2 FT, 4/5 2ps, 6/10 3ps), dished 6 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds leading his team. Also, he scored five points in the last seconds doing almost everything for his team to come back in the game (Efes was leading 84-80, 44’’ to go after a basket by Perperoglou).

After Dixon, Palacios was the other player who made the difference for the visitors, while he scored the free throw which made the score 86-85 and played excellent defense against Krstic in the last possession of the game. The Serbian center asked for a foul and was very angry against the refs.

Krstic was the top scorer of Efes with 16 points, while Lasme (15p), Perperoglou (14p), Saric (10p) and Osman (10p) also scored in double digits. Efes couldn’t control the game at all and has to beat Karsiyaka on the road in order to get back the home advantage.
