After the first two games of the series, everyone except Unicaja‘s players, believed that Barcelona would qualify easily to the finals. But it proved to be totally wrong. Unicaja won second game in row (77-66) and we ‘ll have Game 5 in Barcelona!

The champs beat Unicaja 91-60 and 91-70 relatively in the first games but in the next two semifinals its image was completely different. Barcelona lost in the overtime 89-84 in Game 3, but Unicaja won confidence and tied the series in the fourth semifinal after a balanced game in which played excellent defense.

Malaga was great in the first half and was leading by 20 points (46-26) after 24′ thanks to the great game by Fran Vazquez (9 points, 6 offensive rebounds), Jayson Granger (11p), Carlos Suarez (8 points, 12 rebounds).

Barcelona tried to come back and cut Unicaja’s lead to 7 (59-52, 27’) with Huertas (14p), Satoransky (12p) and Tomic (12p) being the leaders. But the Catalans couldn’t avoid the second in row defeat and the Game 5 will be held in Barcelona on Sunday 14/6. Unicaja will try to come back and qualify to the finals though in only 5 times in 19 Spanish semfinals series, the visitors won the Game 5.
